Creative Fabrik Branding

Bespoke designs that breathe life into your unique brand

What’s in a brand?

Branding is more than just a logo or the colours you use. Your brand should represent your business, show who you are and demonstrate your core values. Branding helps you stand out from the crowd – your competition – and shows your customers what to expect from you and your business before they start working with you.

Your branding needs to be consistent across the board throughout your website, socials, emails, leaflets, business cards, signage and so on. There are many areas that are used to develop a brand including advertising, customer service, social responsibility, reputation and visuals. All of these elements and more, work together to create one unique and attention-grabbing profile.

Our Branding Process

As we don’t do ‘one size fits all’ at Creative Fabrik, our mission is to bring out the unique in your particular brand. At the start of a branding project, we really take our time to work with you, to find out what makes you tick and what your business stands for.

Before even starting to think about the design or visual elements, there’s a structured 3 step process to working out your unique branding that can be explained as: Identify – Position – Reputation

Identify who and what you want to be to your clients. Then, create your brand strategy to position yourself accordingly and then constantly manage everything that influences your positioning.

Positioning must be translated into assets e.g. visual identity, content, products, ads and actions. The services you offer, customer support you give, human relations and experiences all project into your customers minds, slowly building up that perception and your reputation.

Reputation: This is the association that an individual has in their mind regarding your brand. This perception is the result of the branding process.

Stakeholders include possible clients, existing customers, employees, shareholders and business partners. Each one builds up their own perception and interacts with your brand accordingly.

As a full-service design and marketing agency, our focus tends to be on the visual elements of a brand. We also use a 3-step process for our branding design projects: RESEARCH – CREATE – REVIEW

STEP 1:
RESEARCH: We’ve developed what we like to call our ‘Vision Planner’, which we use to find out what you want and need from your brand. We’ll ask the right questions about your specific requirements, budget, upcoming deadlines, etc and gather as much information as possible before we begin the design process. If we don’t get all the answers that we need to make a start, we won’t go ahead.

STEP 2:
CREATE: Once we have enough information to start, we’ll begin the design process where we create visual assets that fit with your brand vision and overall strategy. We’ll develop several designs in draft form for you to review and narrow down your favourites.

STEP 3:
REVIEW: From the outset, we’ll agree design reviews at set times either weekly or every two weeks, depending on what you want. We’ll work with you every step of the way to make sure you’re totally happy with what we’ve created and we exceed your expectations.

We were looking to have a new website designed for us. We were unsure how we wanted it to look and were nervous about getting it right but Rik designed a fresh new logo for us and, with his help and expertise, we got a website which looks amazing and is very user friendly

Did a very good job in understanding what I needed and projecting the right image with the Hawkspur brand. Able to understand the brief and interpret what was required as a new website…which looks very good and is an effective marketing tool for the business. Friendly, efficient and responsive

Nick at Hawkspur

As a photographer, my website is my ‘shop window’, so it is essential that it must look clean, professional, and be easy to navigate. Not only that, it must be both PC and Smartphone friendly, something that I had not even considered before contacting Rik. To say that I am pleased with how it has turned out is an understatement. I am delighted with it and astounded by the overall look. Rik was very easy to work with and came up with some very good ideas and options regarding layout and how the site would look. The finished website could not have been better! I would certainly recommend Creative Fabrik to anyone who is considering a new website build
