All websites that we design and build are special to us and we always put out heart and soul into them but as a budding photographer one of our team was super excited to be asked by the multi award winning photographer, Olympus Mentor and Permajet Envoy, Roger Hance FRPS to redesign his old website, Roger takes up the story, “My old web site was old and out of date and in urgent need of revamping. Rather than try to update it, I decided to approach Rik James of Creative Fabrik to build a completely new and modern web site.”
After an initial Zoom Meeting we ran through our Vision Planner with Roger and we talked in great detail about how the website would look and function, the mobile users of the website were huge and we wanted to make sure that they got the same experience as the desktop and tablet users, Roger continues “As a photographer, my web site is my ‘shop window’ so it is essential that it must look clean, professional, and be easy to navigate. Not only that, it must be both PC and Smartphone friendly, something that I had not even considered before contacting Rik. Rik took care of all this.”
We looked a small rebranding project to start and then the development of the website, we came up with a few options for Roger to showcase the incredible and we mean INCREDIBLE range of the highest quality photography we have seen in a long time. Our absolute joy at working with Roger on this project was only made better by Rogers enthusiasm for the process and ultimately for the outcome as Roger concludes “To say that I am pleased with how it has turned out is an understatement. I am delighted with it and astounded by the overall look. Rik was very easy to work with and came up with some very good ideas and options regarding layout and how the site would look. The finished web site could not have been better! I would certainly recommend Creative Fabrik to anyone who is considering a new web site build”.
I think it’s safe to say if you have a look at the content of the website, the imagery, the testimonials and the accreditation’s as a photographer it was a real pleasure to have been involved in this project with Roger…. and if you need someone to give your camera club or group a talk, Roger is available…
