Rebranding

Branding is a perpetual process because it never stops. People, markets and businesses are constantly changing and your brand must continue to evolve in order to keep up.
There are many reasons for thinking about a re-brand and they can be driven by:
- a need to refresh an outdated look and feel
- a change of customer demographics
- looking to influence a change in customers perception
- a new product or service offering
Some Rebranding examples

Essex Table Tennis Association
The original Essex Table Tennis Association logo was drawn in the 1970s as a black and white rotring pen illustration. In 2010, we redrew the logo design in Illustrator and in 2020 we were given the chance to add colour and texture to give it a more modern brand identity for a new age and demographic.
Our rebranding process is essentially the same as for a new branding project BUT the biggest difference is that your existing customers already have an engagement with the old brand. When you rebrand, you need to bring those loyal customers on a new journey, so that they stay engrained with your brand and can see that the company they love is still there.

Essex Refurb
Essex Refurb had a brand identity that just didn’t explain what they did as a business and used a very strong red colour as per the Essex Scimitar brand. We softened the logo and turned it into an icon that could be used on t-shirts, letterheads and website.
The new logo was a chance to make it clearer what they did as a business. The injection of a vibrant and punchy green tone was loved by the client and has been incorporated into the new website and has been well received by their clients.
